Abstract: Mars exploration is an important part of human outer space activities. Russia has accumulated a rich technical experience in Mars exploration. This article reviews the development process of technology of manned exploration of Mars in Russia, including its current projects, key equipments and technical abilities, and analyzes the feasibility of the project. Some proposals are given about international cooperation in Mars exploration.
