Abstract:
The payloads brought into outer space in a manned spacecraft have usually considerable weights and volumes, with strict requirements on installation. Based on the original configuration of the recoverable module of Shenzhou-8 where the payloads are planned to be placed, a modification design of one astronaut seat as the installation platform for the payload is proposed. The feasibility of the alternation is demonstrated through tests and it is shown that the design can meet the requirements of the payload.
