Abstract:
This paper proposes a new method of designing vertical magnetization-demagnetization coil for satellite, which concerns the use of electric connections. With this method, the hoisting with crane is not needed , and the safety and reliability of satellite magnetic test may be improved. For this purpose, the positions and electric parameters of the coil assembly are calculated, then the structural design and static analyses of the equipment are carried out. The magnetization-demagnetization coil has already been used in satellite magnetic tests in CM2 laboratory of Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Environment Engineering, which features easy manufacturing, material saving, safe work and easy operations.
