Abstract:
This paper first reviews the basic configuration of a lunar rover and the role played by its radiating surface fence. The advantages and disadvantages of the fence are then discussed through thermal control analysis. With due consideration of high working temperature caused by the fence during lunar day, four kinds of design schemes were worked out for the fence configuration. The thermal control analysis and comparative analysis were carried out for these schemes, and the acceptable engineering scheme was selected from them. The scheme could meet the requirement for the temperatures of the equipment in lunar day and night.
