Abstract:
The improvement of spacecraft’s function and capacity calls for enhanced capability of its power system, including the power distribution and management, fault detection, reliability and maintenance, for a larger capacity and a higher level of intelligence. For this objective, in the Tiangong-I target spacecraft, a high-capacity power distribution scheme is implemented in its power system, which is discussed in this paper. The data acquisition unit allows the real-time collection of parameters, to ensure a good performance of the target spacecraft in the orbit. Based on the scheme, an intelligent power distribution scheme for subsequent manned spacecraft is proposed, incorporating intelligent data processing, solid-state power controller, to enhance the system function and expand its application field. The updated high-capacity intelligent power distribution system can satisfy the requirements of future manned space missions and deep-space exploration tasks.
