Abstract:
Discharge could easily happen in a low pressure environment for electronic products onboard a spacecraft, to induce electromagnetic interference, product damages, and even catastrophic accidents. To determine the changes and the pressure variations inside a unit case, the pressure is analyzed and calculated. Then, using a special self-developed device, the pressure in the unit case is measured in a vacuum chamber. The calculation results and the measuring results are in good agreement, which may provide some guidance for the design of the unit case, the protection against low-pressure discharge and the evaluation.
