In the conventional vibration test for a slender structure, a single vibrator iS used with an expander and the average control method. which may cause over-test or under-test in different parts of the structure. A multi. exciter test with multi. 10ads applied to multi-points of the structure Can enhance the confidence level of the test. In this paper, the problem of the conventional single vibrator test for a typical slender structure is analyzed. The plan, the fixture and the control method of a dual-exciter vibration test for the slender structure ale proposed and the actual test results ale shown. These results Call be used in the dual. exciter vibration test design for other similar slender structures.
