Abstract:
Based on the effect of the RF cable's low-temperature resistance torque On the deployable and lockable mechanism for a satellite. a test of the RF cable's resistance torque at lOW temperature is carried out. The effect of the resistance torque on the static torque budget of the deployable and lockable mechanism is analyzed. On the basis of the torque analysis, an improved design scheme of the mechanism is proposed. and the simulation analysis is conducted for the scheme. It is shown that the improved mechanism Call be deployed reliably, and the parameters, including its deployment time, the impact torque, and others, can meet the general requirements ofthe satellite system design.
