Abstract:
In the past, OCT control method was usually used in acoustic tests, but its control precision is low and can not meet the demands of the new test criteria. This paper discusses the principles and the main components of an acoustic test control system especially its control algorithms. By modifying the power spectrum estimation algorithm and the equalization algorithm, the precision and stability of the system can be improved. 1/3 octave acoustic test control system is built in the VC++ environment. The new control system was tested in a reverberation chamber and the results indicate that the control precision can satisfy related requirements of standards.
