Abstract:
To relieve the work load of test operators, and avoid the distortion of the temperature data and the risk of temperature control failure due to human errors, a system is designed for remote monitoring of temperature controller's state parameters based on VEE and Nport, which may improve the precision, the efficiency, and the automation level of the spacecraft vacuum thermal test. The NPORT-5610 serial server is applied to do the protocol conversion between RS-232 and TCP/IP, which serves as a serial port for the network transmission. VEE, a visual programming language, is used to develop the system software. The established remote monitoring system, with reasonable structure and flexibility in its software and hardware design, enjoys good extensibility, and has been successfully applied in a vacuum thermal test for a certain spacecraft model.
