3 000 h life test of 20 cm xenon ion thruster

摘要: 为了验证20 cm氙离子推力器的寿命，进行了约3 000 h的寿命考核实验。在实验过程中，测试推力器性能参数、离子光学系统性能以及放电阴极和中和器阴极的能耗变化。通过对测试数据的分析来判断推力器的寿命终止时间。实验表明20 cm氙离子推力器连续累计工作3 000 h后，性能指标满足设计要求，其寿命已超过3 000 h。

Abstract: 3 000 h life test was carried out for validating life of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster. During the testing, performance the parameters of the thruster and the ion optics system, and the energy consumption of the discharge cathode and neutral cathode were measured. The thruster life was estimated by analyzing the measured data. The results show that the performance of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster can satisfy its design requirements. The life of the 20 cm xenon ion thruster is over 3 000 h.
