Performance evaluation and verification techniques for satellite primary structures after qualification testing

  • 摘要: 为推动技术经济一体化工作,并紧跟国外可重复使用航天器的技术发展趋势,中国空间技术研究院以通信领域某商业卫星作为试点型号,于院内首次开展并完成卫星主结构鉴定件的性能评估及可重复使用专项研究。针对该卫星初样主承力筒结构的功能特性以及复合材料的特点,通过分析评估要素,遵循“材料级评估—产品级评估—产品级试验”的分级评估步骤,系统实施各项评估项目,全面验证鉴定件的疲劳强度、精度保持能力等结构性能,推动产品在正样型号的可重复使用。该项研究成果预计将大幅降低研制成本,缩短型号周期,并可推广至航天器其他复合材料结构类产品的可复用性评估研究。

     

    Abstract: To keep pace with global advances in reusable spacecraft technology and promote the integration of technological and economic objectives, the Chinese Academy of Space Technology (CAST) initiated a pilot study using a commercial communication satellite platform. For the first time, a dedicated evaluation focusing on reusability was conducted on the satellite’s primary structural qualification unit. The evaluation assessed the functional performance of the prototype-stage primary load-bearing cylinder and the specific characteristics of its composite materials. A hierarchical assessment process—ranging from material-level analysis to product-level testing—was applied. Key structural attributes, including fatigue strength and dimensional stability, were verified through systematically conducted tests. The results confirmed that the qualification unit meets the criteria for reuse in flight models. The study is expected to significantly reduce development costs and shorten development cycles, while also providing a technical reference for assessing the reusability of other composite structural components in spacecraft.
