Structural optimization for satellites with a consideration of local modal constraints

  • 摘要: 在卫星结构设计中,基于传统的全局频率约束问题的结构优化方法不能直接应用于模式置换现象的局部频率约束问题。为此提出一种近似方法:首先假设在优化过程中结构整体质量矩阵的变化可以忽略不计,且指定局部频率的模态振型在优化前后是一致的;然后基于这2个假设,将原始局部频率约束的优化问题转化为局部区域节点位移约束的优化问题,节点位移约束由当前局部频率和期望局部频率之间的比值确定。数值算例和实际工程优化实例验证了该方法的合理、有效。

     

    Abstract: In satellite structural design, the traditional structural optimization method based on global frequency constraints could not be directly applied to the local frequency constraints with mode switching. Therefore, an approximation method was proposed in the present work. It is assumed that the change in the overall mass matrix of the structure could be neglected during the optimization, and the modal shapes of the specified local frequency were consistent before and after optimization. Based on those two assumptions, the original optimization for local frequency constraints was transformed into an optimization for nodal displacement constraints of the local region, and that the nodal displacement constraints were determined by the ratio of the present local frequency to the expected local frequency. Both numerical and practical engineering optimization examples verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
