Abstract:
The traditional assembly process no longer adapts to the increasing demand for small satellite batch production. By identifying the major factors that seriously limit the assembly efficiency of small satellite batch production, the existing main assembly process, assembly inspection process, assembly auxiliary line work, and assembly process documentation were optimized, with specific optimization measures proposed. The process optimization methods included stripping off non-value-added links, standardizing production, optimizing process sequence, informationization and automation, etc. The optimized small satellite assembly model for batch production improves the assembly efficiency and shortens the batch production cycle. Based on that, a research direction of optimizing the assembly process for small satellite batch production is proposed. The study creates a new idea for the future batch production of small satellites in China.
