Abstract:
In order to improve the simulation modeling quality and the efficiency of the satellite truss structure design process, and to optimize the utilization mode and the efficiency of the three-dimensional model information in the simulation process, a method for the rapid simulation and modeling of the satellite truss structure is proposed based on the simplified three-dimensional modeling geometrical feature. The modeling path and the software interface for the beam element and the shell element are given. This method is applied to the simulation modeling process of a satellite model structure, and the modal analysis for the 3D finite element model is carried out through the simulation calculation. The error between the results of the transverse mode analysis and the mechanical test is 6.07%, and the errors in all directions meet the requirements. It is shown that the method of the simulation modeling of the satellite truss structure based on the simplified 3D modeling geometrical features is reasonable, feasible, and reliable for engineering applications.
