Abstract:
In order to investigate the dust cloud at the Earth-moon liberation point EML4 and EML5 and its dynamic characteristics, it is necessary to develop an in-situ detection method and the related technologies for simultaneously studying the dynamics of the particles of the speed in the range of 0 to 30 km/s). With regard to the Kordylewski Dust Cloud (KDC) exploration mission planned in China, the existing dust velocity vector detection method based on the grids can hardly meet the detection requirement of high-speed particles. By adding a certain kind of the target such as the resistance wire target, the aerogel target, the metal target, behind the grid-type detection device, the particles of different velocities can be detected, at the same time, as well as their velocity, mass and the amount of charge carried. In view of the applicability and the advantages of the above target devices, the method combining the grid and metal ionization is recommended, for the future researches.
