Abstract:
The simulation of space environmental effects (SEE) on spacecraft is an important part of the system analysis and the design of spacecraft. The current status of software developments for the simulation of the SEE is reviewed, and the lack of software for the system-level simulation of the SEE is especially noticed. The basic flow of the SEE analyses for spacecraft and the primary functions of software for the system-level simulation of the SEE are discussed. A seven-layer architecture of the software is then proposed. Finally, the prototype for the meteoroid flux calculation based on the architecture and the calculation result is expounded.
