Abstract:
The ITO film is often used to control the satellite charging. But it will lead to a hidden trouble of the satellite surface charging when the ITO film is cracked due to its fragility. To deal with this problem, the carbon nanotube transparent conductive film is folded to change its resistance, and it is irradiated by the low energy electron to measure the charging characteristic. It is shown that the carbon nanotube film has the similar volume resistivity and the charging voltage as the ITO film, but with much smaller resistance variations compared with the ITO film for the same fold number. So it is possible to replace the ITO film with the carbon nanotube film, just in the context of satellite charging control.
