三轴磁强计及梯度计校准的综合系数法

Comprehensive coefficient method for calibration of three-axis magnetometer and its conjugate gradiometer

  • 摘要: 三轴磁强计及其组成的梯度计在卫星地磁导航和空间探测中起到至关重要的作用,因此在使用前必须对它们进行校准。文章分析了三轴磁强计和梯度计的测量误差来源,建立了磁强计与梯度计测量误差修正模型,提出综合系数法,即无需单独考虑每个影响误差的因素。利用无磁转台在均匀磁环境中对Bartington公司生产的三轴磁强计及其组成的梯度计进行了标定,结果表明:该方法能够将2个磁强计中的最大总场偏差从552.4 nT降到15.0 nT,将三分量梯度计x向最大输出偏差从3 891.5 nT降到37.2 nT,显著提高了三轴磁传感器的测量精度和效率。

     

    Abstract: The three-axis magnetometer and its assembled the gradiometer play an important role in the satellite geomagnetic navigation and space exploration, therefore, they must be calibrated before they are put into use. This paper firstly analyzes the source of the measurement errors of the three-axis magnetometer and the gradiometer, then establishes a correction model for the measurement error. With the comprehensive coefficient method, which works without the need of considering each influencing factor, a non-magnetic turntable is used to calibrate the Bartington three-axis magnetometer and the corresponding gradiometer in the uniform magnetic environment. It is shown that with the method, the maximum total magnetic field deviation of the two magnetometers can be reduced from 552.4 nT to 15.0 nT, and the maximum output deviation of the three-component gradiometer in x direction can be reduced from 3 891.5 nT to 37.2 nT, which effectively improves the reliability of the three-axis magnetic sensor in the measurement.
