可快速展开式空间碎片柔性防护系统概念及关键技术探讨

The rapidly expandable shield for space debris protection: concept and key technologies

  • 摘要: 针对航天器对cm级空间碎片的防护需求,提出一种可快速充气展开式空间碎片柔性防护系统概念,旨在借助大间距柔性防护屏多重破碎与气体烧蚀减速的联合作用,实现防护能力的大幅提升。在分析国内外空间碎片柔性防护结构发展概况与瓶颈的基础上,研究可快速充气展开式系统的组成和工作原理,总结并梳理出研制本系统涉及的关键技术,以期为我国高价值航天器天基动能防护的后续研究提供技术参考。

     

    Abstract: In the context of the spacecraft protection against centimeter-scale space debris, this paper proposes the concept of a flexible shield, which can be rapidly inflated and deployed in the orbit for the protection against space debris. With the combination of the multiple crushing and the gas ablation deceleration of large spacing flexible bumper, the protection capability can be greatly enhanced. Based on the analysis of the development of flexible structures at home and abroad for space debris protection, the system configuration and the working principle of the concept system are discussed, as well as the key technologies of the flexible space debris shield of allowing rapid inflatable deployment. The results can be used for the follow-up studies of the space-based kinetic energy protection for China’s high-valued spacecraft.
