Abstract:
To deal with the problem of the system function interruption caused by the single event latch-up (SEL) of the CCD video device, a control circuit is developed to restore the system function from the latch-up state for the photoelectric signal processing system. By tracing the signal of the sudden increase of the current during the SEL, we set up a working mode of the power on/off for the system to identify automatically the occurrence of the SEL, and respond with a short time-delayed cutting-off of the input power, then turn on the power again to restore the circuit chip’s function. The self-recovery is realized with the embedded engineering fusion design of the control circuit and the system circuit. The validation test by the heavy-ion shows that the control circuit works effectively, and the auto-resumption of the system functions takes less than five seconds.
