Abstract:
Compared with the traditional two satellites with one rocket launch mode, the self-series satellite launch allows a higher payload ratio. This paper reviews the development of the structure subsystem of the all-electric propulsion satellite platform which supports the self-series satellite launch. The design requirements and the characteristics of the structure subsystem of the self-series satellite platform are discussed, and a mechanical test validation strategy for the satellite platform is proposed for the pyramid validation with low cost and high efficiency. The structural platform supporting the self-series satellite launch has passed the mechanical environment tests successfully. The design and test method can help the development of similar spacecraft structure subsystems.
