Abstract: By learning from the selection process and criteria of space application projects in related fields at home and abroad, and considering China’s need for the development of aerospace technologies, and the mission characteristic of China’s space technology experiment field, we propose the projects selection process and criteria for the aerospace technology experiment. The selection process includes three stages, namely, the initial selection, the reselection, and the implementation & promotion. The selection criteria cover the considerations of the necessity, the advanced nature, the feasibility, and the security of the candidate experiment project to be implemented in the space station. The establishment of the proposed selection process and criteria provides a reference for the collection of subsequent projects, and at the same time, lays a foundation for the continuous exploitation of valuable projects with great significance and potential impacts.
