Abstract:
To improve the efficiency of the leak detection for mass-produced satellites with propulsion system, the general leak detection process and method are analyzed for small satellites, as well as the characteristics of the small satellite mass production, and a design scheme of inserting a leak detection self-locking valve in the propulsion system is proposed, together with the feasibility analysis of the pressure drop method for the differential pressure leak detection in the total leak rate test. An optimized process and the methods of leak detection for batch production of small satellites are put forward, to provide some reference for improving the leak detection efficiency of the small satellite mass production.
