微小型热层大气风场仪能量分析器设计优化

Design optimization of energy analyser of miniature thermosphere wind sensor

  • 摘要: 为满足低轨航天器高精度大气阻力分析及热层−电离层耦合机理研究需求,需要开展基于皮纳卫星的热层大气全球组网探测。文章对一种基于平行平板式静电场能量分析器的热层大气风场仪原理进行分析,指出其可获得热层大气沿着和垂直于卫星轨迹的风速,并利用COMSOL多物理场仿真软件对能量分析器进行优化设计,使得离子的能量分辨率和最大通过率分别较优化前提高1倍和1.5倍。

     

    Abstract: The global constellation for the thermosphere exploration based on pico- and nano-satellites is necessary for the high precision analysis of the atmospheric drag of the LEO spacecraft and for the study of the coupling mechanism of the thermosphere and the ionosphere. In this paper, the working principle of the thermosphere wind sensor based on the parallel-plate energy analyser for the static electrical field is discussed, and the method of deriving in-track and cross-track wind velocities is demonstrated. The design of the energy analyser is optimized by using the software COMSOL Multiphysics, and the energy resolution and the ion transmission are increased by factors of 2 and 2.5 respectively.
