Abstract:
In the flight experiment, it is often necessary to determine the impact response of a part of the spacecraft structure under high frequency excitations. In such case, the statistical predication methods give results faster but with more error; whereas the numerical methods enjoy a more accurate result at the expense of time, and it is usually difficult to consider the deviations of the shock source and the structural transferring. Therefore, both methods have some undesirable features. This paper proposes a prediction method based on the shock transfer function, similar to the vibration transfer function. It is verified by a separation test of a pyro product. It is shown that the method can quickly and accurately predict the impact response of the specified spot.
