Abstract:
In this paper, the thermal fatigue test for the turbine blade under the thermal radiation of quartz lamps is simulated by the virtual test technique of the thermal environment. The standard temperature field is selected a target for the comparison between the results of the quartz lamp radiation heating with and without the air film cooling. It is shown that the temperature field under the second condition are much closer to the target data as compared to the temperature field obtained only by the quartz lamp radiation heating. A more accurate temperature field along the thickness direction and the chord of the blade guarantees the effective simulation of the thermal stress in the thermal fatigue test of the turbine blade. The above results of the virtual test simulation show that the combination of the quartz lamp radiation heating with the air film cooling is applicable in the fatigue test for the turbine blade.
