Abstract:
A scheme for simulating and testing the cabin noise is proposed based on the characteristics of the noise inside the in-orbit space station. The sound power equivalent method is employed for simulating the single source of noise, the multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) closed-loop control method is adopted for the simulation and the control of the multiple noise sources. The error for 1/3 octave sound pressure level error is not more than 3 dB, which can meet the requirement of the noise simulation. The depressurization and repressurization noise environment pertaining the extravehicular activities is reproduced in the vacuum tank. A noise testing system is built, where the total sound pressure level is determined to be within 100 dBA. The test data can be used for determining the noise condition of the space station unit.
