Abstract:
A large satellite with a long-term ground storage is studied in this paper. It takes nine years from the completion of the structure manufacturing before the satellite launching. Engineering data of the central column shell and the structure panels of this satellite are extracted and then compared with other satellites of the same type. The deformations of typical structures are estimated for satellites with a long-term storage. The factors affecting the deformation of the satellites are analyzed. The results may serve as a guide for the storage design, the storage test and the analysis of the storage influence for the future satellite missions.
