Abstract:
The feasibility of using carbon fiber as the electro-thermal radiant material for the infrared heating cage is investigated. The processing technology study and the experimental research of the carbon fiber heating strips are carried out. The structure of the carbon fiber heating strips is designed, and all the specifications are tested. Analysis of the measured data proves that using carbon fiber as the electro-thermal material for infrared heating cage is absolutely feasible, with many advantages such as high electro-thermal radiant efficiency, without the need of black-coating, easy to assemble, recyclable and low cost.
