Abstract:
The connection reliability of the spacecraft low-frequency cables is directly related to the performance of the space units. The bend strain distribution of the cables is analyzed firstly in this paper. Then a control method of the bend radius of spacecraft low-frequency cables is proposed. The cable branch with an insufficient bend radius can be identified and the bend forming scheme can be applied in the cable layout design phase by using this method. With this method, the low-frequency cables in use are able to avoid the risk of broken wires due to extra stress. Engineering practice shows that this design method turns out good result and is worth promoting.
