Abstract:
In order to improve the dielectric performance of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) film, the influence of uniaxial stretching on the crystal structure and the dielectric property of PVDF is investigated. The effects of stretching ratios and temperature on the relative degree of crystallinity and dielectric properties of PVDF films are investigated. The degree of crystallinity in PVDF film increases greatly and reaches up to 80% after uniaxial tensile. Meanwhile, the stretched spherulites and micro-strips paralleling with the stretching direction are observed in the matrix by AFM. When the stretching temperature is 80 ℃ and the stretching ratio is 4, the dielectric constant of the stretched film increases by 40% and reaches up to 11.4 at 100 Hz, with the dielectric loss being as low as 0.02.
