KrF激光照射约束层靶驱动产生高速飞片研究

High-speed flyers driven by KrF laser irradiatied flyer-targets with substrate

  • 摘要: 微小空间碎片的超高速撞击对航天器性能有重要影响。为了研究撞击损伤机制,在“天光一号”装置上开展了KrF准分子激光照射约束层靶产生高速飞片的实验研究,利用成像速度干涉仪(Imaging-VISAR)对飞片自由面速度进行诊断。采用1.9 J准分子激光将10 μm的Al飞片加速至12 km/s,且整个过程为准等熵加载。研究结果表明准等熵加载下激光能量转化为飞片动能的效率(达39.4%)比冲击加载要高得多,飞片速度也高于后者。

     

    Abstract: The effects of the micro-space debris hypervelocity impact on the properties of spacecraft are significant. In order to study the mechanism of the impact damage, this paper studies experimentally the launching high speed flyer by using HEAVEV-I KrF excimer laser irradiating flyer targets with substrate, and the velocity of the flyer is diagnosed by Imaging-VISAR. The experimental results show that the velocity of the flyer of 10 μm thickness is up to 12 km/s driven by 1.9 J KrF excimer laser. The efficiency of the laser energy translated to the kinetic energy of the flyer can be up to 39.4%. And the process of loading is quasi-isentropic. The experiments indicate that the efficiency of the laser energy translation into the kinetic energy of the flyer of quasi-isentropic loading is much higher than the shocking load.
