Abstract:
Energetic particles with energy ranging from tens of keV to several MeV exist ubiquitously in the space environment, and they can lead to electrical charge accumulation on the surface and the inside of satellites, or even single event upsets. The generation of these energetic particles is closely related with the eruptive phenomena in the space environment, such as solar flares, magnetosphere sub-storms. This paper reviews the mechanisms of particle acceleration in magnetic reconnection, shock, and wave-particle interaction, which are associated with these eruptive phenomena.
