Abstract: This paper proposes an information coding scheme for electric labels in the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system for the inventory management in a space station. In this scheme, the electric label codes with the error control coding are made to identify the information of the inventories. The analysis results show that the information reliability of this scheme is better than that of the original scheme storing more identification information by choosing a kind of an appropriate error control coding under the same condition. The simulation results are consistent with the analysis results.
