Abstract: For estimating the life of sealing products, based on the data of the accelerated life and the natural storage life of six rubbery sealing materials used in launch vehicles, including EPDM-8106 and CR-4103, the error between the accelerated life and the natural storage life is calculated, and the accuracy of the accelerated life prediction is evaluated. It is shown that the accelerated life method can be applied in the life prediction of rubber sealing materials.
