Abstract: This paper analyzes the space debris capture process by dynamic modeling. Based on the non-cooperative target capture system, the flexible net X model is designed. The whole capture process is simulated by EXCEL and MATLAB in order to analyze the effect of the projectile velocity and angle on the capture capability of the flexible net. It is shown that the net capture capability has no significant change with the increase of the projectile angle. As the projectile velocity increases, the capture capability will improve.
