Abstract:
In order to enhance the ability of acoustic tests
to meet the requirements of spacecraft, Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Environment Engineering has built a reverberation chamber of about 1 070 m
3. This paper presents the design of the chamber’s building, the gas generation system and the control system. The wall of the chamber is in a double configuration, the steel door is of push-and-pull type, and a new digital close loop control system ensures the control precision. The overall sound pressure level of the 1 070 m3 reverberation chamber can reach 155 dB.
